Pad work, coordination, combinations and control.

Muay Thai, also known as Thai Boxing, is a dynamic striking martial art from Thailand. Famous as “The Art of Eight Limbs,” it uses punches, kicks, knees and elbows to create a complete and exciting stand-up martial art.
For children, Muay Thai is a fantastic way to develop coordination, balance, reactions and fitness. Learning to put different movements together on pads also builds concentration, confidence and a real sense of achievement as their skills improve.
At Future Warriors, safety always comes first. Children are not simply put together to punch and kick each other. Our younger students develop their skills through pad work, fun drills, movement exercises, games and carefully controlled partner work, all appropriate to their age and experience.
Alongside the physical skills, Muay Thai has strong traditions of discipline and respect. We encourage children to listen, focus, control their emotions, respect their coaches and training partners and become increasingly confident in themselves.
As students move into our youth programme, the training becomes more technical and challenging. They develop their punches, kicks, knees, combinations, defence, footwork and pad work, alongside greater fitness and controlled partner training.
For those who simply want to get fit, learn new skills and enjoy martial arts, Muay Thai has plenty to offer. For those who want to take things further, there is also a pathway towards advanced training and competition.
Fun when they're young, challenging as they grow — building the skills, discipline and confidence for whatever comes next.
